You can easily get immersed into this album (Cayman Blue) for an hour or so. ...the guitarist/synthesist [Joaquin Lievano] travels the world for musical inspiration, setting his sites on sacred places. On the album Ecologie "Scottish Highlands Melody" is a joyous jig; other songs transport the listener to the peaks of the Himalayas, the depths of the sea and the middle of a rain forest. The whole work is inspired and relaxing; Lievano is a formidable talent whose expressive acoustic/electric guitar beckons...He combines complex and simple guitar lines that are more memorable than many in the genre. A tempting album, not just discardable ear candy - worth many listens.
